NSW Air Pty Limited

Founded in 1999 by the Australian Aerial Patrol, NSW Air now operates a service to provide fast and effective travel to the Illawarra's growing corporate market. Aircraft charter has given the Illawarra an effective tool in our regional environment. Our Professional Flight Training facilities have become a large part of our organisation and allows us to train our own staff as well as those who are working toward a carreer with the Airlines. Illawarra Regional Airport

(Wollongong Aerodrome) is a security controlled, licensed airport that is owned and operated by Shellharbour City Council. It is the base for a growing Light Aeronautics Industry, which provides maintenance and engineering services for aircraft ranging from ultra light to medium size turbo prop and jet aircraft. Civil Aviation Safety Authority

The Aviator Lounge

at The Illawarra Regional Airport is where those Pilot types and aviation enthusiasts fly into for lunch. The Aviator has stunning, uninterupted views of the escarpment and a unique ambience that is popular with both aviators and the general public alike. Open for lunch Tuesday to Sunday, dinner Tuesday to Saturday and breakfast on weekends, they have an extensive modern Australian menu and local wine list and are fully licenced. Wings Over Illawarra

is the annual air show held at Illawarra Regional Airport on the last Sunday of February each year, this air show has been growing in size each year and inclues a variety of historical and military aircraft performances and displays as well as on the ground activities that feature all of the operators at the aiport.
