The Aerial Patrol has launched the 2012/13 season with intermediary flights over the October long weekend, prior to the start of summer. Patrol Crew are now in training and aircraft are being readied for what is anticipated to be a busy swimming, surfing and fishing season.
The Aerial Patrol 2nd Annual Kiama Hot Rod Run was held at Kiama’s Black Beach in September in conjunction with the Romans’ Hot Rod Club. The day was hugely successful with over 250 sensational vehicles on display and 6,000 spectators. The Aerial Patrol raised over $5,000 as a result of spectator donations and raffle ticket sales with an additional $5,000 donated by Masocicare. The photo shows Masonicare’s Brian Willis and Aerial Patrol General Manager, Harry Mitchell, at the cheque presentation with AIRPAT 1 (Partenavia) in the background.
